Introducing Ultrasonic Scientific's High Sensitivity Ultrasonic Spectrometers for the analysis of samples that are otherwise difficult if not nearly impossible to analyze by other techniques. These unique spectrometers use ultrasonic mechanical waves to probe intermolecular forces in the sample interior and detect the changes in attenuation and ultrasonic velocity (speed) as the ultrasonic wave passes through the sample. Both of these parameters can be measured simultaneously, providing sensitivity in the ppm range and resolution to 10^-5 percent for ultrasonic velocity, allowing for differentiaton even between two very similar materials.
