Standard Rectangular Cells
Standard rectangular cells or Macro cells, Type !, are the most common cells used in analytical chemistry. The exterior dimensons allow the cells to be highly versatile. These cells have an exterior height of 45mm, two clear windows and an open top. The walls of the cell and the bottom are smooth on the inside. On the outside the light path windows are clear while the adjacent windows and the bottom are frosted grey. Typically, windows are 1.25 mm thick and each cell in this range is supplied with a Teflon® cover.

Semi-Micro Cells
Semi-Micro Type 9 cells are utilized to reduce the sample volume necessary to make measurement.
The volume of a Semi-Micro cell is approximately 40% of an equivalent path length standard rectangular cell.
